HVAC Project Manager

Cox Engineering is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for complete project management from project start documentation to close out procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and interact well with clients in on-line coordination meetings and on-site 
  • Represent Cox from a coordination standpoint in all internal and external meetings
  • Ensure deliverables are being completed within the established timeframes, cost plan and within defined customer expectations
  • Ensure the required Safety, Health & Environmental standards are being achieved and regulatory conditions are being met
  • Communicate project progress to the customer, Operations Manager, and team regularly and in a timely manner
  • Proactively manage foreseen project risk, mitigating as necessary
  • Manage changes to the project without unduly affecting the stated objectives and benefits

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years Project Management experience in HVAC preferred
  • Ability to draw HVAC pipe using CAD a plus
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to work closely and efficiently with clients and co-workers in a professional, business environment

HVAC CAD Detailer

Cox Engineering is seeking a HVAC CAD Detailer to meet the following requirements:

  • Proficient in latest editions of AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks
  • Ability to draw HVAC pipe and knowledge of ductwork coordination
  • Work with Project Manager to ensure CAD department has all files required
  • Skilled at using NavisWorks Clash Detection
  • Interact with clients in on-line coordination meetings and on-site with Project Managers.
  • Represent Cox from a coordination standpoint in all internal and external meetings.
  • Assist the CAD Manager with the coordination of projects

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 year Engineering Degree
  • 3-5 years HVAC design experience using AutoCAD / Navisworks
  • HVAC load calculation and pipe/duct layout experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to work closely and efficiently with clients in a professional, business environment

CNC Press Brake Operator

Cox Engineering is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator. Candidate will have excellent mechanical ability; able to interpret blue prints; use hand tools and able to perform mathematical computations/measurements. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate the Brake machine efficiently.
  • Set each job up based on work order instructions and job prints.
  • Pull tooling and prepare setup for each job.
  • Do first piece Inspection.
  • Work in an efficient and timely manner, multitasking where necessary.
  • Get materials required and perform setup for next job.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction.
  • Ability to read work order instructions and carry out directions as necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, large non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with the assistance of another employee or using a cart.
  • Standing a minimum of 8 hours a day.
  • Sitting a minimum of 0 hours a day.
  • Walking a minimum of 8 hours a day.
  • Pulling/Pushing a minimum of 4 hours a day.
  • Highly motivated individual with attention to detail.

HVAC SERVICE TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Cox Engineering Service Division is seeking a Technical Sales Representative.  This is a new position being developed to support the growth of our existing customer/contract base.  The ideal candidate will have a background in the HVAC industry.   Direct sales experience is beneficial but is not required.  This position reports to the General Manager of the Service Division.  As a Technical Sales Representative you will be responsible for:

• Generating estimates and proposals for the repair, replacement, retrofit and/or design of HVAC equipment and systems for our existing customer base
• Following up on technical leads generated by New Business Development Representatives and assisting in nurturing new clients into long term customers
• Working productively and creatively with the service sales and operations group
• Providing support to our existing customer base including assisting internal and external customers with any additional needs that they may have
• Maintaining and nurturing new and existing customer relationships
• Maintaining positive communications with all Cox Engineering Divisions to facilitate growth and opportunity for our company and our associates
• Supporting the Service Group’s booking objectives at target gross profits in a timely and high quality manner
• Promoting sales and increasing market share by introducing company products and business solutions

Cox Engineering Service Division is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Sales Representative.  The ideal candidate will have a background in the HVAC industry.  This is a new position being developed to support the growth of our existing customer/contract base.  Direct sales experience is preferred.    This position reports to the New Business Development Manager.  As a Preventive Maintenance Sales Representative you will be responsible for:

• Pursuing Preventive Maintenance Agreements leads generated by New Business Development Representatives and assisting in nurturing new clients into long term customers
• Surveying customer sites to determine the customers’ relevant HVAC maintenance needs
• Assessing the labor and material resources required to support customer maintenance through use of maintenance estimating software
• Generating Preventive Maintenance Agreement proposals for the maintenance of a wide range of HVAC equipment
• Following up with prospective customers to ensure that they understand their maintenance agreement and the maintenance process and execute the Preventive Maintenance Agreement
• Working productively and creatively with the service sales and operations group
• Maintaining and nurturing new and existing customer relationships
• Maintaining positive communications with all Cox Engineering Divisions to facilitate growth and opportunity for our company and our associates
